Hello.

I've bought Lenovo Z510 with 8GB DDR3 RAM. I have old Lenovo G550 with 3GB DDR3 RAM. Can I add this 3 GB to my new Lenovo? Or it will be some conflict?

Open up any RAM identifier and see if the voltage, frequency and others are equal. You can always try, the worst can happen is your OS not booting until you pull the ram off

Okay. You think it will make significant difference between 8GB and 11GB with normal using + games?

first off don't do this. since its a laptop it most likely only has 2 ram slots, in the rare case that it has 4 you will be asking for all sorts of issues. right now it has a 2x4gb sticks in it, you would then be adding a 2gb and 1gb stick to the mix which will play hell on the memory controller and most likely slow the system down.

Sell your G550 with the RAM it if you won't be using it. As above, you can't do what you are looking to do without making things worse.
