hello guys,

in cs:go my fps is good (150-200 avarage) but in the most part of the gameplay it is not smooth a bit laggy. just laggy enough that holds me back from giving some shot because my aim and my mouse movement isnt smooth. so i feel like with a perfectly smooth gameplay i could easily make a shot but with my choppy gameplay its either done by lucky spraying or i die. its really annoying even more because i spent a lot of money upgrading my pc.

my config:
Gigabyte GTX 560 OC (non-ti)
FX-8320 (4,2 Ghz turbo) (how i raise the cpu clock the gameplay seems getting a bit better, but i dont think i need to put to like 4,5 ghz and fx-8320 to have a good cs:go gameplay)
ASUS M5A97 R2.0
4 GB Kingston HyperX 1600 mhz cl 9
SAGA II 550 W PSU
Seagate Barracude 1 TB 7200 Rpm
cooling: arctic cooling freezer xtreme rev.2, 5 case fans

the things that i tried:
-writing the basic things into launch options(before that it was horribly unplayable)
-lowering all settings in nvidia control panel(its also helped a bit)
-all settings low(its even worse with higher settings)
-i tried deleting the background.swf but after that the game didnt let me join vac-servers

other things to notice:
-it was better with my cheap micro atx mobo + fx-4100 combo(less fps, not perfectly smooth, but more playable)
-other games are running fine (bf3, grid autosport, stalker lost alpha tried)
-maybe my gpu bottlenocks the cpu?
-temps are also fine
-if nothing i can do, what should i change in my config to make it sure it will run perfectly? i was thinking about switching right into an i3-4330 or try an fx-6300 or getting a better gpu(i could afford a gtx 750ti) or more ram?
-sorry for my bad english :)

hey there i just asked a question here on th about the samething my specs are fx6300 and a gtx6501gb ddr5 /8gb ram.
and i had the same thing with my old laptop csgo ran perfectly smooth with an i5 and a mobile ati gpu also when i bought my current pc there was a dedicated mobile pcie gpu in it also ati but i remember the game ran also smooth on that so i think its the nvidia cards or drivers that are causing this not sure but it might help you.

hello there
thanks for commenting here
i also read a lot of complainment about nvidia cards not working perfectly with cs:go.
now i changed to an fx-6300 and its so wierd now, it seems more laggy but the mouse movement is smoother (fps is pretty much the same)... anyways getting an r7 260x soon. srsly if it wont help i'll just throw out my computer of the balcony.
i'll let you know the results if youre interested :)

disable turbo core in bios disable core parking in windows or try different audio drivers windows or realtek/creative etc etc helped for me. or maybe you should look into dpc latency and how to make it smaller. these are all thing that could help you try something and see for your self

oh and i didn't see you have 4 gb ram currently cs:go has an annoying memoryleak problem which makes the game lagg if you get laggy again try closing csgo and opening it again and see if it goes away

disable turbo -> less fps
care parking -> did nothing
updated my realtek driver -> did nothing
dpc latency... i dont think it would help...

now i gotta get 8 gigs of ram do a windows reinstall and lets see what happens...
