I currently have a gigabyte GA-990fxa-ud3 (rev 1.1) motherboard with a FX 8120 cpu, 16 gigs ram, amd radeon HD 7770 vid card, and a 2TB hdd, running Windows Enterprise 8.1 with update. I started noticing that my mouse and keyboard would freeze randomly, especially while trying to type. I bought a new keyboard and mouse to see if it was the keyboard. It did not fix the issue. I have updated the drivers to the newest versions. Was wondering if anyone else had this problem? Also, what could be causing it.

I checked my 3 HDDs and they are all good, Also I thought my power supply didn't have enough wattage, so bought a 1000w corsair power supply. It still freezes every so often. So i think its a bad cap in the motherboard. So I think i will break down and buy a new motherboard.

That applies to oem versions of Windows, not to retail versions.

So I read, and concede, but I am still not sure if your motherboard is the problem. Again, it's up to you what you want to buy. Usually if there's a problem with your motherboard you'll see things much more serious than simply stuttering.
