I've had this computer for a few years and believe my graphics card is finally dying out. I would like to upgrade it to something way better for game play but not entirely sure what I can get with my specs. I like to keep the price range below $150.

Specs:
Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit
Intel Core i7 CPU 870 @ 2.93 GHz (8 CPUs)
8gb of Memory
350W Power Supply.

Along with the graphics card if anyone has suggestions on what else to upgrade I would appreciate that too.

To run a decent graphics card you're gonna need a better power supply.
This one should do it, just make sure your computer case can hold a standard ATX power supply.

The R7 265 is faster than the similarly priced GTX 750 Ti and the GTX 260X

Notes:
1. We don't know what form factor your computer case is, which means the ATX power supply might not fit. Also, if it's a smaller than average case then you might have troubles fitting a full size video card in that case as well.
2. We don't know what kind of motherboard you have. The video card suggestions assume you will have a free PCIe slot when you take out the HD5700. But if that card uses a rarely used interface like AGP or PCI then you will not have the proper type of slot needed on your motherboard.
