Is it possible to connect Win 7 CPU to my MacBook Pro ? I don't have any other monitor to connect to my desktop. So i want to use my Macbook pro as a monitor for PC. I have a Mini DisplayPort to VGA Adapter and VGA cable. I tried switching display settings in my desktop but no luck.

Short answer is no, there's not a way. There's no video input devices in your MBP.

As much as most of use here would love it if they designed a video port to be switchable from an output to an input that is just not the case. On your MBP as well as all windows PCs, the video ports are output only, thus they do not accept a connection as an input.

You can remote desktop, but that requires you to have already had remote desktop setup on the win7 machine.
