Need GPU choosing help!

Hello!
I am looking at the MSI Radeon R9 270X HAWK and the gtx 760.

I can't simply find which one to get with the best performance for modern games, and at a decent price. There are so many to choose from and I don't want to make the wrong decision.

The GTX 760 is a higher performance card, and will give you higher fps, but the 270X is generally regarded as better from a budget standpoint. I would recommend a MSI twin frozr, gigabyte windforce, or sapphire vapor-x card.

Because soon I will be building a gaming PC.
Because I know the 760 is better and the r9 280x is lot better. I am not sure what to do???? Because some of the gtx 760 models are over my budget for this GPU (£100-£170)

What do you think I should do? Or anyone have any GPU recommendations for me?
