So I'm going to upgrade my rig / DIY for the first time.
I'm currently using a mlx pro with an fx 4100 and a radeon 6850 (sapphire)
I plan to buy tomorrow a gigabyte z97 gaming 7, a i5 4690k a nzxt h440 case and a corsair 750watt cx series psu all for about 527$
I kind of just want opinions on all of this /10 (I can swap the corsair 750 watt for a 600watt modular if reccomended I guess)
Opinions on the case / better options under 115$
and do you have to completely wipe a hard-drive to use it with a new mobo? I'm really not looking forward to trying to figure out how to preserve my files/programs any suggestions would be dandy
