When I open some videos, I think 1080p video, VLC opens to such a size that I can't drag it around to find the bottom right corner so I can resize the window. This is a problem when I want to have VLC open on top of my browser in a box-like window.

I've tried resetting all my preferences in Preferences but this doesn't work.

There is one possible solution here - https://forum.videolan.org/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=52999 - scroll down to the bottom for the solution.

The instructions are pretty much the same in all of the above links.
