Is this a good PSU?

Well I haven't had any problems with the non-modular 600 but now I have an R9 290 and that alone is something I don't want to risk failing because of a low-grade PSU.

My question should be: What is the BEST 750W CPU I can get (near that price range) that will run an i7 4790k, Asus Maximus VII Hero, Sapphire R9 290 4GB Tri-X OC, and G.Skill Trident X 8GB 2400Mhz RAM.

How much a PSU "suffers from less than the best capacitors" depends heavily on the PSU's topology. More efficient topologies like current-fed and LLC converters almost eliminate the need for output filtering altogether.

Yeah. Before the 750 I had a 600 which would of been fine BUT I was being an idiot and I only had a 6pin plugged in and my card wasn't running... The reason being I needed to plug in a 6 and 6+2pin which i had but I thought I was missing a cable xD.
