When I plug my mouse into the rear usb port (both 2.0 and 3.0) it freezes for about 1-5 seconds then works fine. It freezes every 2-5 minutes. But I ignored the problem because I would just plug the mouse in the front ports and it would work correctly. But now my oculus rift DK2 has arrived and I don't have enough ports on the front to plug it in so I need to use the back. The problem is it every 2-5 minutes it says no HMD (head mounted display) detected. And at the same time the light on the camera turns off.
So it seems like the usb ports are turning off and on for some reason.
Mother board is a Gigabyte am3+ ga-990fxa-ud3
I updated some of the drivers (some of them didn't have a exe file)
I've tested the mouse and oculus on other computers and they work fine. I've also tried different mouses on my pc and same problem.
This problem has been happening from day 1 so I don't think its a hardware issue.
