My computer specs are:
i7-3770 @3.40GHz
GTX 660 Ti
16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1600 MHz
Seasonic M12II 620 80Plus BRONZE PSU
So I thought my GPU was under performing because I would get around 75 fps playing CS:GO online and with bots I would get like 90 fps. The other day I turned the computer off and cleaned the dust that was building up and when I powered up the PC and played CS:GO I was getting like 250 fps online. What I should be getting right?! Then I found out that I accidentally unplugged one of the power cables that went to a storage hard drive. When I plugged the hard drive in back to the power supply and booted the computer my fps was back 70, on the exact same server! Is my GPU not getting enough power? I have no idea whats going on
By the way I use:
64GB SSD for windows (C: )
1TB Hard Drive (A: )
and an old 320GB drive (D: ) that is causing this dilema
