My new motherboard (AsRock Z97 Extreme6) has a mini PCIe port, which can be used for a suitable wifi card. is this a better option than using a normal PCIe wifi card?
They would be about the same as far as performance - the one advantage of the mini card is you keep a full PCI slot free, but make sure you have the ability to use an external antenna - the ones that have an "internal antenna" stink.....
