It would be my pick. It will do all you are looking to do. It can even play recent titles on at least medium to high settings.

you must be intel person, i personally dont like them, i was just wondering if all the components i picked out were compatible and would work together. with room for upgrade. i prefer fast ram than 1600

will my build work?

appreciate your effort, but you just asked for my budget, through together a build in like 5 mins of YOUR liking, and in no way shape of form answered the question i asked. on top of it, i stated what its use and you still asked, along with my budget... smh..

Your components were compatible, but the APU line is not very good. The one you picked is slower than a Phenom II X4 965, clock for clock. I actually own AMD and Intel. I have 2, FX 8230 rigs, plus 2 i5 rigs. I am sorry I missed the use part, but budget was necessary. I am sorry but, it is a courtesy to state a budget from the start. Maybe you should read this before you post again. http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/353572-31-build-upgra...

You do not need ram faster than 1600 with Intel. Don't really need it with AMD, either, unless you are using an APU. I gave you a better system, for your money, and yet you complain. If you want to spend more on inferior hardware, be my guest. If you are dead set on AMD, then go with this, but enjoy the dead platform, with no upgrade path that AMD currently offers. It would still be superior to what you posted.
