Asus Z97-A Motherboard Red Light on Boot-up

Hello,

I recently built my PC with the following specs:
i7 4790k
Asus Z97-A Mobo
Kingston Fury Ram DDR3-1600
Evga G2 750w PSU

(no gpu right now)

Whenever I attempt to boot everything, I get a red light on my Motherboard. Troubleshooting tips please!

Do you have the latest BIOS? Also, try with just a single stick of DRAM in slot 1, closest to the CPU....if problems persist try with a different DRAM if you have or can borrow a stick. This Fury line doesn't run based on XMP as do 99+ % of DRAM on the market, it's based on PnP...let us know if anything here helps, if not can dig into other possibles
