Hi guys I need an opinion on upgrading from the GTX 550 ti to a GTX 660 ftw and whether there will be any issues with my current system.

Here are all my specs;

CPU - AMD Phenom II x4 B60 Edition 3.3ghz
Memory - 8GB RAM
GPU - Nvidia Geforce GTX 550 TI 1GB
Motherboard - Asus m4n68t-m le v2
PSU - 500W

The reason I want the gtx 660 is for better FPS in bigger games like BF3 also being able to use higher graphic settings and improving overall performance.

This is my main question;
Looking at my system specs, if I were to upgrade to a GTX 660 would there be any bottlenecking with the cpu or any waste of performance. Is the rest of my system up to the standard of the GTX 660 without holding back some of it's potential?

This is my first time upgrading my GPU and want to make sure everything is ok, so if theres anything else you guys need to know just ask.
Detailed and specific answers would be appreciated.

Thanks, Dan.

I can't afford the 770 at the moment.

I am now thinking about getting the GTX 760 OC 2GB, what are your thoughts? surely this must be a big upgrade compared to the 550 ti 1GB?

Also, what would be better;

GTX 660 EVGA FTW edition or the GTX 760 OC?

Ok, thanks for the advice.

I want to check one more thing

Will my current motherboard (In OP) be big enough to fit the Zotac 760 in and also is 500W enough to power it efficiently as well as my Phenom ii x4 b60 3.3ghz being ok to power the gpu with no bottlenecking?
