For a build coming up soon i was wondering if I should get a 750w bronze certified PSU or a 850w Bronze PSU. more interested in the overall expandability. In less than a year I plan to crossfire 2, SAPPHIRE Dual-X R9 280

If you are planning to crossfire 2 R9 280s thats about 500W of graphics load so with an OC'd CPU you'd be pretty close to the limits for a 750 so i'd definitely suggest an 850.

The main problem with your OP though is that you don't list where you can buy from, what your budget is, and what the two PSUs you are looking at are. Not all PSUs are created equal and there are good and bad PSUs at all levels and all price points

Sorry, I'm somewhat new to foruming. The 750w is a EVGA SuperNOVA Gold Certified. The other is a Rosewill HIVE Series HIVE-850. My budget is pretty strict to $115 or less.

Go with the 750W it should be enough with around 100-150W left depending on what your CPU is
