G750 JZ Model...and running games on max settings.

So, I recently bought this thing, and I was under the impression by going with the JZ and it having the 880M GPU, it would be able to run anything on max settings, currently and into the future...

However, after messing around with it, Im not very impressed, maybe I just had too high of expectations.

Shouldnt this thing be able to run Diablo 3, and SW: ToR on maxed settings without any hiccups?

I find that when Im running Diablo 3 maxed out, it seems flawless and looks great, until a heavy battle area with a lot of stuff going on, the frames will drop significantly and stutter badly, then catch up when the action starts to taper off. Its definitely noticable, or even when Im running by an area in the game that has a lot of shadowing and flame type graphics.

I also find that when running SW: ToR it just isnt even doable on max settings. It seems to run the game smooth on the Medium-High settings with a few things turned down like shadows, however when I try to max out, the FPS drops a lot, and its very choppy/not good at all.

Anyone know the reason behind this? Am I missing something here? I thought with the specs of the JZ model, I was paying the extra bucks to get something that wouldnt have an issue at all with the type of games I play.

Here are my general specs btw:

Intel Core i7 4700HQ (2.40GHz)
24GB Memory
1TB HDD 256GB SSD
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 880M
