Besides price.. whats the difference in these two cards?

Sooo whats the difference? I mean if it was a really crappy brand, I could see...but Asus is a solid GPU company.. so what gives? (did I miss something)

The cooler basically.

ASUS version all day, the pny has the vanilla cooler.

Asus is easily the better manufacture of the 2. I have had alot of issues with PNY in the past, not only with the quality of their hardware but the quality of their customer service. The few times I have dealt with Asus they have been easy to work with. A choice between those 2 cards the Asus is a clear winner. Not sure why the pny is so much more especially where it's just a reference card.

Most of the 780ti cards on newegg are in the $650+ price point, is the Asus one a lower spec? I mean a 780ti 3GB is a 780ti 3GB right?

bump. I compared the specs, and it seems like the Asus is a better card.. what "major" points should I be looking for in a card? clock speed? memory? thanks!
