I'm going to be building my very first custom pc soon and i can't decide between these 2 GPUs. I live in Australia so I'm shopping on pccasegear.com and these to GPUs are both $249AUD. I'm wondering which of these two (ASUS Radeon R9 280 DirectCU II TOP 3GB or MSI Radeon R9 280 Gaming 3GB) will have better performance and/or FPS. This is the rest of my build, if you want to know: NZXT Phantom 530 Case White
Intel Core i5 4690K
CoolerMaster Hyper 212 EVO CPU Cooler
MSI Z97-Gaming 5 LGA 1150
G.Skill Ripjaws X F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL (2x4GB) DDR3
Seasonic M12II 620W Power Supply
Seagate Barracuda 2TB ST2000DM001
TP-LINK High Gain USB Adapter TL-WN822N
ASUS DRW-24D3ST 24x DVD Writer
Suggestions and answers will be greatly appreciated :D .

Both will get the same FPS however for the cooler quieter and slightly ahead for overclocking I'd get the MSI one .

Side note : looks better :D

Why don't you get this one it's just 30$ more http://pcpartpicker.com/part/sapphire-video-card-100363...

I live in Australia so it's much more expensive than that of USA because on the website i'm getting my GPU on, the one that you mentioned costs $369AUD while the R9280's cost only $249

The MSI and even Asus gpus provide better cooling and overclocking options than the Dual-X .

The failure rates for Dual-X are on the higher side so its not really worth it.

Also he lives in AUS so prices are going to be different.

Well If that's the case then I'll say ASUS. They make high quality stuff. I love their Metal backplate on GPU's. Protect the parts from being scratched.
