Hey guys,

I'm on a budget of around $150 AUD and in the same time I would like to be able to OC this baby to 4.7+

Does a motherboard play a role in how well the CPU OCs or will something like Can I achieve the overclocks I'm planning with something like the ASRock Z97-ANNIVERSARY or ASUS Z97M-PLUS

I would also like to ask which cooler you would recommend for volts like 1.45 max if need be?

This is a video editing rig
Thanks

A good board is quite important, a asus sabertooth, asus z97 pro, asusz97 k are all designed for high overclocks, and a noctua would do

Thanks legend.

ASUS Z97-K could be a contender because it's in that price range of $150
I think I should forget about the Asrock anniversary because I've seen some pretty bad reviews
