I am about to build my first gaming pc.
These are the parts I´ve chosen:

· Case: CM Storm Trooper Gaming Big Tower
· Processor: Intel Core i5-4460
· Ram: Crucial DDR3 BallistiX Sport 16GB KIT
· Psu: Corsair CX 750M, 750W PSU
· Gpu: EVGA GeForce GTX 780Ti 3GB -Demo
· Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P, Socket-AM3+
· SSD: Crucial MX100 SSD 256GB 2,5" 7mm
· DVD Writer: ASUS DVD Writer, DRW-24F1ST

Let me know if this is a good or a bad build.
My budget is 1250$.
Thanks

In addition to the ssd i suggest that you get a good internal hard drive as well.
The ones with 7200rpm should do.
That way you can store your frequently used programs and windows on ssd (which will give you a boost in speed) and keep your games on the hdd
