HDMI output switches constantly between wide and 16:9

Hi!

I've been having problems with my Acer Aspire V5-573gt.
I have connected it to a Panasonic TX ST50P0.

What happens is that the output keeps changing between wide and 16:9.
So far i've tried to update to latest drivers both for the Intel HD graphics and for the Geforce m750.
I've also tried to change the settings on both the computer and the TV to no avail.

Does anyone know if there is a solution to this?

Try Fn + F5 this toggles between displays and both.

In the TV menu, did you look in other settings for 16:9 overscan

There are two modes on the TV. One is wide and the other is 16:9. It switches between these tow modes constantly as soon as i connect the HDMI cabel. The overscan option is off, should it be on?

Try it and see if makes any difference and make sure the laptop is outputting the TV's native resolution 1080p? and laptop is configured to put out that resolution if not native. There might be a conflict between overscan, laptops screen and TV's resolution.
