Do I need a new PSU?

I am planning on getting R9 280x and FX-8370. I currently have a FX-4100 series and HD 6670 with this

PSU.

Do I need a new one or can I get buy on this current PSU?

Replace ASAP it is at the bottom of the barrel quality wise. Good 550watt unit http://pcpartpicker.com/part/xfx-power-supply-p1550sxxb9 which is the min I would run the card on.

another thing you should consider is 8370 compatability with your mobo. i suppose if it supports 125 tdp cpu then it would also support 8370, however most probably you will need a new bios which most probably will be released!

I got the PSU and I updated the bios. To test this stuff out went to try to play skyrim on ultra but it went to white screen after loading into my saved game. I bumped down to high and the same thing happen. I went to rome total war II went to play a new grand campaign on very high. The screen freezes but audio keeps going when the introduction narration happens. I have a 970A-D3 Rev 3 motherboard and 16 gigs(8x2) of corsair vengeance ram. Drivers are up to date. I brought the card from a litecoin miner and was wondering if they modify the vbios in anyway to maximize mining?
