Does it work fully? I mean does it work with it the same as if I had the newest mobo?
Or does it work on lower effiency?

Yea, it will be completely fine. I understand your concern the graphics card isnt exactly cheap but you wont be wasting your money.

The only thing comparing to a newer motherboard is PCI 3.0 which all graphics cards are backwards compatible with 2.0 and not even todays top end cards come close to saturating PCI 2.0 slots so no need to worry, go have fun with the 770.
