My PC

Intel Core Duo E8200
P5G41T-M LX mobo
Corsair CMX4GX3M1A1333C9 4GB1333
AMD HD 7770
500w PSU
Artic CPU cooler
60GB SSD Samsung
1TB none SSD

Hi, I cannot work out what my next step should be in upgrades. I'm currently trying to O/C everything I have currently to try and get her to last a little longer, but I feal It's time to upgrade some parts. My issue is. Do I upgrade the Graphics card to say a R9 280 or do I upgrade the CPU, MOBO and ram to say a FX6100 with 8GB 2133. I'd love to do both but seperatly im only looking at 150 - 200quid which I feal should be enough to throw at my PC to get a boost.

I don't play top of the range games but I am finding I'm living on the 20 - 25fps edge alot more than I did a few years ago.

Games I play at the mo are Archeage, star citizen, WOT & Skyrim.

I dont see how the G4258 is any better than the E8200? Mines currently clocked at 3.2Ghz and the r9 270 is worse than the 280? the G4258 is also a differant socket so I'd have to buy a new Mobo to. I'm trying to work out what my bottle neck is on my current system, are you saying the whole PC is?

Thanks

Andy

RAMs a bit slow but since you're on budget it is not a priority, sure you could get 2133MHz RAM but that way you'd waste a lot of cash for COUPLE of FPS.. definetly not worth it.
