Sorry if this is the wrong place for this type of question, but I couldn't see an area specifically for drivers.

I have recently built a PC with the ASRock Z97 Extreme4 motherboard. I am currently at the stage of installing drivers. However, on the driver installation page (http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Z97%20Extreme4/?cat=Down...) there are multiple intel ones and an INF. I understand that I should install the chipset one first. My question is, which driver is the chipset one?

Thanks

First, there's no places here, you just ask and tag the question with the stuff that it has to do with

Also i believe the INF is the chipset driver one
(not sure) :p

Yes, that INF...

2. then the Intel Management Engine...

3. VGA video driver...

4. Realtek Hi-Def Audio (Audio and HDMI services)

5. LAN Driver

6. ASMedia SATA (this is a secondary memory controller)

7. ASMedia USB 3 Controller (secondary USB 3 controller)

Read more about the Intel Rapid Start, Smart Connect, Rapid Storage and AppCharger. After understanding what they provide, I wouldn't want those services so I don't install them. See if you do, and use accordingly. They ARE drains on your computer's resources and if you're not using them, give yourself a faster running computer.
