My keyboard will not work at all on startup, I can't click "del" to get to the BIOS menu. I also can't click "f12" to get to the startup menu. I've tried spamming it when restarting and holding it, but it still won't work. It never worked in the "safe mode" startup thing either.
If it helps I have a razer deathstalker keyboard.

Try plugging it into one of the rear usb2 ports. I use the one closest to the top of the pc, usually where the old ps/2 keybd and mouse connectors are

I checked with razor and ita known issue with that keybd. You'll need to grab an plain old keybd for those times you wish to enter the bios.

it takes the deathstalker longer to initialize, during post, and results in a "no keyboard connected" error.

If your mobo has a fast boot option, you can try to disable that. The result should be a full search for all devices on every boot, like you force it by plugging the keyboard in a different port.
