Hello,
I am building a system with an AMD FX CPU. I am going to be overclocking, and I will have a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO, which is a nice cooler from what I've heard. As the title suggests, I am torn between the FX 8320 and the FX 8320E.
The FX 8320 has a stock clock of 3.5GHz, and has a TDP of 125W. The FX 8320E, however, has a stock clock of 3.2GHz but has a significantly lower TDP of 95W. I am wondering - what CPU can I get a better overclock out of? (I'm looking for the highest frequency, not the highest frequency gain from the stock clock.)
Any replies are appreciated.
P.S. My mobo supports a TDP of 140W and the cooler supports up to 180W.
