i contaced alot with my local shop / xfx / Toms hardware / and computerhope
i got 4 months of warranty left and me is adviced to RMA it.

XFX warns me for Customs that i might have to pay whice can take up to 50-60 euro's

Im afraid of That xfx wont find the problems in my card and will send it back to me. since those problems just occur once a day or less.

So i decided to not RMA it since it is still functioning. i decided to reinstall windows and upgraded to Windows 8 64 bit

it went for 2 days fine. until the day of today. while playing world of tanks my monitor loses signal. (checked all monitor cables)
i reasearched some and discovered its called a Black screen syndrome. and mine only happen while gaming ( 100% GPU Load )

i have since i upgraded windows a camera on my pc desk to capture moments whice shouldn;t be there and recorded the Black screen syndrome

on the video u can see the sound is repeating on the moment the monitor lost signal. putting monitor back on to find signal wont work. and since the PC is repeating the sound of the moment of signal loss it isnt a cable issue. ( my suspect is the graphics card )

- Are those proofs enough to RMA it ?
- How big is the chance of Paying the Customs
- Will XFX find the problem ?
- Should i wait for more harder proof's or RMA it straight ?

In the video im saying :

- My Pc is turned on.
- i was actually playing world of tanks if u can hear it
- and the monitor has no signal
- i will putt the screen of and on
- and the screen cant find any signal coming in, no signal
- And again screen off and on
- no signal
- The sound is repeating it self
- no signal, so i got to hard reboot my PC
- PC is on again and i got signal

i have been asking alot that time on Toms and the PSU is enough atleast that is what me have been told several times.

My card uses 80Watts maximal Cpu amd x4 640

here a guy claimes this:

I have a system with crossfire 7770s an an antec high current gamer 400W. No problems at all.

You could do what "anonymous1" suggested. You could try some simple trouble shooting techniques like.

- Switching to a different PCIe Power cable.
- Switching PCIe slots on the mother board.
- Updating Motherboard and Graphics card firmware.
- Testing power supply.

These are the standard trouble shooting steps.

some i already cant do :

- Switching to a different PCIe Power cable.
i just do have one

- Switching PCIe slots on the mother board.
My mobo has just one

- Updating Motherboard and Graphics card firmware.
using fresh windows with new drivers

400W is plenty for a 7770.

I agree that a 400w psu should be plenty and I also strongly think the XFX 7770 would be the best option in this situation.

DarklamaR said :
vinootje, yep 400W is enough, but without overclocking.

Then use a the Mulix to PCIe adapter that came with your card.

- Switching PCIe slots on the mother board.
My mobo has just one

Then use a friends computer.

- Updating Motherboard and Graphics card firmware.
using fresh windows with new drivers

That is not how you upgrade Firmware. You have to flash it.
There are Youtube videos out there on how to flash firmware.

If you are not comfortable with this then take the card back for RMA. They may give you a hard time that your system does not meet the minimum required specs though.

Sorry for the edits had to find some links.

Also you will not be able to Firmware your Graphics card in your system because you only have one slot. In fact I would not recommend firmwaring in your system because your graphics card is not stable.

i have recently flashed my bios and it was already the current one that is most decent.

i dont have friends that know alot about computers.

My graphics card didnt provide a Molex to PCI-e just a DVI to HDMI

The problem is its not just black screen ( no signal )

on previous windows i had more problem whice didnt occured now on the upgraded windows jet.

Like BSOD Atikmdag.sys, Stripes on my screen like in my first post in this topic. Lag while pc is just booted up.

this system runned fine for 1 and a half year.

Ok. I think you have all of the tools you need to solve the problem. It is up to you to decide which action to take but you have to take action. I can not help you any more unless you do. I do not know where exactly the problem is unless you do some trouble shooting. If you are not comfortable with this then like I said take the card back and they will test it for you and if it is faulty RMA but again it is up to you to take action.
