power save mode with 3 beeps

my monitor goes into sleep mode soon after i turn it on with 3 beeps and it doesnt respond to anything.....but once in a while it turns on normally .. if its d problem with my RAM or KEYBOARD dont u think it should never turn on ?
what do you think is wrong with my computer ? thanks in advance!!

I am sure it is a problem with the ram.
This is what I did without looking at a black screen. Open the computer if you have more than one ram bar remove one of those and start the computer up. If it boots up into windows then you have found the problem ram. Gently clean the brass contacts with steel wool without removing any brass, you just want to get rid of the dust.
