So my sister forgot her Windows 7 password and she was having virus issues anyways so I decided to install Ubuntu 14.04 LTS but it didn't work so I moved her HDD and installed it there and it worked fine but after I moved the HDD back to her PC it always crashes when I log in. I tested it on yet another PC and it worked and when I moved it back to her PC it still crashes at the same spot. Any ideas what's wrong or solutions to fix it please?

More about : crashing

Moving a drive with already installed Windows OS often fails.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
You've seen both here.

Solution:
Put the drive back in whatever system it is supposed to be in - Reinstall whichever OS you want.

Let's step back. It's always preferable to install on the computer where it will be used. What went wrong with the install?

If I had to guess your BIOS is UEFI on your sister's computer and not on the other two which would cause the problem you see. Check your BIOS settings, usually f2 at boot, and see if you are UEFI or not and safeboot on or not. We'll go from there.
