Hello everyone I have an i5 2500k with an EVGA GTX 560 2GB SC gpu and I was wondering if getting another GTX 560 for SLI would bottleneck my cpu, also I was wondering what size power supply should I buy because I have a Corsair CX500 500w PSU and i'm not sure that will be enough any insight and help is much appreciated

Solution
YOU are fine go ahead no bottlenecking .
A suggestion from me get a r9 270 sell the old gtx 560 its better than 2x gtx 560 and you can keep your PSU.
Or you have to change the PSU gtx 560 SLI requires 42 amp and a minimum of 650 watt psu.

Give a thought on my suggestion it would save you money and increase performence also noise , heat and power consumption.

well upgrading to a better single card does make ALOT of sense however i don't wanna go AMD i've had bad experiences with there drivers
also if i do upgrade to a better card i was thinking about getting 2 GTX 760's i hear they have about the same performance as the GTX Titan

well AMD had drivers issue in the past but now they really make good drivers i will still recommend you to get a single strong card ..... always better than SLI so instead 2 x gtx 760 get a gtx 780 for almost the same price or simply get a r9 290x for much better performance its you choice every body have their own preference.

ok thank you for the information even though i've had problems with AMD drivers in the past the cheaper R9 270X is a little bit less expensive which is making me reconsider getting the GTX 760

yeah i think i will get a GTX 760 however due to the lack of room in my case i was thinking of getting this:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127772&cm_re=MSI_GTX_760-_-14-127-772-_-Product

or this
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121775&cm_re=Asus_GTX_760-_-14-121-775-_-Product

which one do you think would be better both would fit in my case the only trade offs i can see is i would have a bit more room in my case with the ITX card other then that would the Asus work with my PSU?
