Ok then one further weird one for you!? I have the above in my box right now and for some strange reason I cannot get windows to "find" my graphics card?? It has power as the fan is spinning but it will not pick it up? Is it maybe a bios issue?

PS: Oh and was working fine on my old Asus LGA 775 board

Your gpu is not getting recognised. Does it appear on the device manager?

Latest Stable yes but found a beta on gigabytes site that I was just about to flash

UPDATE: Ok flashed the beta still no luck but i did notice that i have a pci controller driver missing so just downloading that now (such a noob)

Have you disabled the integrated graphics and have you connected the monitor to Gpu display port?

Ok tried that with both my GT620 and an ASUS EAH4670 both to no avail. I hear windows start but absolutely nothing is displayed! I am truly stumped

What psu do you have? Also, try to set PCI from BIOS too, switch from MoBo's onboard graphics to PCI express.

I have a zixaa p4-450w and I have tried all from Bios as well as from windows. Just will not work I'm starting to suspect the pcie16 socket itself

you have the monitor cable attached to Gpu's port and not motherboard's port right?
