(english is not my native languaje)
hello i hope someone can give me some clearance about this, so basically i bought the asus amd r7 240 2gb ddr3, because i coudln't play games with the integrated graphics (intel hd graphics)
that came with the intel core i3 550 3.20.

bought the card, installed it, everything runs fine games and everything, the problem is i think the card might be overheating, when i play gta iv it can reach 82°c, bf3 78°c, black ops 1 and 2 75°c
and card idle runs at 35 before i start playing games, and then after i've played it stays at 40°c

so the posibilities to the high temp of the card are either the psu wattage, which is 220w, probably not enough airflow, and gpu being too close to the psu.
here i'll show you my specs, and some photos of my system.

the whole pc is a hp slimline s5725la (small form case)
cpu: Intel Core i3 550 3.20 ghz HT
gpu: Asus Amd r7 240 2gb ddr3
ram: 1x 4gb ddr3 1333mhz
hdd: 1tb seagate 7200rpm
reader: dvd+cd reader/recorder
fans 4 including psu, gpu and cpu
3 usb devices connected, mouse, keyboard and printer
psu: hp 220w

thats pretty much all i know that's into my case

here are some pics

R7 240 should have at least a decent 300 - 350w.

PREBUILT Slimline cases run hot , they are POORLY ventilated so the temps are normal.

so what can happen in the future if i keep the 220w? will i have problems with the gpu or can the motherboard be damaged from the psu?

The PSU lifespan will be shorter.
