tially when I turn on my computer or restart I am able search the web, but within 2 minutes or so, I get the message, "this webpage is not available". My computer is showing full bars of internet and Skype works just fine. I have just moved into a new house. Nobody else that lives here seems to have any difficulty with the internet. This has been going on for about 2 weeks now. I have an asus, not sure the operating system...
I appreciate any help! Thank you

Since you seem to have an Internet connection, it may just be the DNS server that you are using. To test that just change your preferred DNS server to the Google public DNS servers: primary 8.8.8.8 and secondary 8.8.4.4.

You can change the DNS in your network control panel, change adapter settings, right click and select properties on the adapter, then highlight the Internet Protocol Version 4 hit the properties button and on the bottom of the general tab click the "use the following DNS server address" and enter the Google DNS addresses. If it doesn't fix the issue, you can change it back by just clicking the obtain automatically button back on.
