My brother in law needs a new router. He will have 2 iphones, 2 ipods, an ipad , an xbox 360 and a laptop on it. Probably not all at the same time. He needs one with good range. The router will be located downstairs and he needs it to reach upstairs and outside a little ways. It needs to be under $100. The house isnt giant but probably medium sized.

I had no luck with my Dlink, found the signal weak, the USB port difficult to use as a NAS, and slow speeds. Even Dlink's newer models are going back to the external antenna.
The TPlink I linked to has external antenna, and 2 USB ports. It comes in just under budget.
