I bought a HP computer a few years ago for $500, and I am looking to add a graphics card to it.
Here are the specs for the computer I have:

I know it is a piece of crap, but working with what I have I was thinking of adding a cheap mainstream graphics card mainly for gaming on 720P. That in mind, I have chosen the GTX 750 Ti:

Will I have enough power and cooling to run this graphics card? I don't intend to do any overclocking.
Also, would it be more suitable for me to cut my losses on this PC and build my own budget computer for 700$?

You should have enough power just make sure you disable the IGP. The main thing holding you back is the cpu tho
