I have AT&T 2wire router. Is it possible to connect a Linksys WRT400N router to speed my WIFI to my MAC BOOK AIR then out to my TV via HDMI to get a better picture.

get a new modem from ATT, not a combo unit unless it is required by U-verse or something

but yes, you can add an access point, not a router, to an existing setup
