Roccat KAVE XTD....No 5.1 Sound

Hi,

I have had the above headphones for about 5 months now with no problems whatsoever, however something happened yesterday (I have literally no idea what!), and they have stopped outputting 5.1 sound. I am getting 2.0 with no problems at all, but when I switch to 5.1 in the Roccat application, it just stops playing all audio both through the headphones, and through the speakers I have attached. I have tried reinstalling ALL of my audio drivers (Realtek, Roccat), all to no avail. Windows actually recognises the headphones as my default device, but will not recognise them as 5.1, and gives the old "Failed to play test tone", message when I attempt to configure the device. I have read pretty much every solution out there but nothing is working. I really hope someone else has had this problem and is able to help.
