I am looking for a 2560 x 1600 27 inch monitor that has been recommended . Do they exist?

Unfortunately the 16:10 resolution seems to have died of. Both 1920x1200 and 2560x1600 monitors are much harder to find now, but there are still some. No one seems to make a 27" 2560x1600 screen though, they are all 27" 2560x1440, the only 2560x1600s i can find are 30 inch screens.

No, at that specific resolution 30" is the only option. For a 27" the resolution will either be 1080p(1920x1080) or 1440p(2560x1440).
