Hello, please bare with me: I am building a PC. I have been given a PNY Geforce GTX770 2048M for free. Part Number: VCGGTX7702XPB. GPU has three fans, is black all over and is not the OC version. My question is in 4 parts:

1.) Is this card any good in your opinion..
2.) I intend to put it in SLI however I don't know if i can buy the OC version and SLI it alongside my other card as the OC version isn't much more, will the card just revert to the slower clock?
3.) Will this motherboard: (http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/RAMPAGE_V_EXTREME/) and 2/3 of these cards in SLI work well and be semi decent as a budget gaming system.
4.) Will the lifetime PNY warranty guarantee still be there if a friend just gave me it?

Thank-you for your time. :)

The 770 is an excellent card, but I don't really trust PNY cards. As it's free, it IS good.
You can SLI OC and non-OC cards. Unless you overclock the slower card, yes, both card clocks will be identical to the slowest.
Yes, as long as you have sufficient PCI-E slots available
yes, a lifetime is a lifetime:)

1) The 770 is a good Nvidia gpu, but I dislike PNY as a manufacture.
2) As long as its another 2Gb gtx 770 the clocks speeds don't matter.
3) The X99 is not a motherboard for a "budget gaming system". Given the board costs $500 cheapest cpu it supports is $400, and ddr4 is also spendy.
4) The warranty is not transferable
