I'm currently in the market for a new computer, with college coming soon I need a laptop that can play games and do normal school work at the same time. I've so far found two options, but I'm curious as to what you guys think. You're welcome to make other suggestions like Alienware or Razer. To be honest I have really looked at those. Anyways thanks in advance.

I would recommend a Razer Blade for student use. It is exceptionally thin, yet still very powerful.

Took a peek at it, is there a version that comes with an 870 or 880? Or is it upgradable.

Laptop GPU's are not upgradeable, but the Razer blade comes stock with the GTX 870M with 3Gb Gddr3 Vram.

Okay I'll consider it, My budget right now is 3,500-4,000. I should probably be spending it on my college funds but whatever. So you said it comes stock with the 870m, is there a version that comes with an 880m? I've heard the Pro version only has an 860m.

You are correct, I don't know what the deal is. Hmm. I found anothe laptop from MSI that has an 880M, along with a fater processor, more ram, and a 17" screen.

Crap, didn't mean to click the solution button, but what is the main difference between the 72 and the 70?

How it looks on the outside;
72 has dual fans, 70 has only one;
72 uses M.2 SSD, 70 use mSATA (I think).
