So I just finished building this PC, and everything works fine, but the problem is when I leave the PC off for long periods of time (usually overnight) and I first start it up, there will be no signal to the monitor. Usually, I have to turn the computer off and turn it on again multiple times (~10-15 tries) before I finally get a video output on the monitor. After that, even if I restart or turn the computer off for a short while, there will be no problem and the display works fine.

I'm currently using an HDMI cable, but I have also tried a VGA cable and it doesn't work either. I have also tried using a different monitor and the problem still persists. In case it might be the graphics card not placed properly in its PCIE slot, I've also taken it out and reinserted it, but the problem still exists.

Here are the motherboard/power supply/GPU/CPU specs:
Mobo: ASRock H97M PRO4
GPU: GIGABYTE AMD R9 280
PSU: Corsair CX600
CPU: Intel i3-4150
OS: Windows 7
Monitor: Samsung S24D390HL

Any help would be appreciated.

Solution
Try removing the GPU and leave it off overnight, when you power up in the morning, connect to the onboard video and see it if happens.

I would think it is either the PSU or the GPU that is creating the problem - but once the system is "warmed up", it is fine.
