I just finished building my computer but when I start it, it only stays on for 10-30 seconds and just shuts off. my first thought was that the power supply did not have enough watts so I upgraded to a 750 watt psu and I'm having the same problem. I have tried a new processor and and a new hard drive but its still the same problem.
Update: after further testing with a 500watt psu the computer shuts off faster with the smaller wattage and I have also tested with a different graphics card and nothing different happened. So if somebody could tell me if it was the power supply or the mother board? And if it is the power supply then why does it need so much power
