Forza 5 PS4 open world?

In Forza 5 for PS4, can I just drive around the world without a care in the world like I could in Need for Speed Most Wanted for PS2, or do I have to be on a track like in Need for Speed Shift?

I didn't realize Forza 5 came out for PS4.

And Forza 5 for XBOX ONE is limited to racetracks.

Forza Horizon 2 is the open world game.

Thanks, I am pretty sure that it will come out for PS4, but I'm not sure. Forza Horizon 2 is probably the game I was thinking of.

Yeah, I forgot that Forza is by Microsoft. Will Drive Club be at all like it?

That is what I am looking for. Is it more like NFSMW for ps2, or NFSS for ps3?
I know that it is coming out in October, but if you have heard anything that I haven't
