Hey TH!

I just got a new BenQ RL2455HM. I have had for about 1 month, but only use it on the weekends usually. I rarely play a game other than Call of Duty. It was not a used or refurbished monitor, so it was brand new.

If zoom in, for example, I notice sometimes around the edges of structures, buildings, and so on and so forth, a outline of blue and red, like looking at a 3d movie without glasses. It isn't all the time. Usually I notice it on things to the outer perimeter of the scope.

If you need any more info such as the settings I have my monitor on or anything else, please feel free to ask.

As always, a big thanks to anyone and everyone who helps. It truly means a lot.

Correction: It is more of a green and red instead of blue and red. And it normally shows up if a part of the screen turns blurry. It would usually be right outside the blurry spot. Sorry if this is confusing.

Are you sure this isn't part of the game visuals? Is it trying to mimic depth of field or something?

Also, do you notice this on anything else, like videos/movies?

One more thing, even if it is kind of dumb: Do you wear glasses? (Stupid refractions!)

No I do not wear glasses or contacts... Also I am 99.9 percent sure it isn't part of the game visuals. I know this because it wasn't on my old tv the way it is now. On my old tv it would happen on anything that was really bright. For example if I looked at a yellow object, it would look rainbow colored, as if the tv couldn't produce that color correctly. I haven't watched any videos or movies on it yet, so I can't answer that question. If it would help at all, I could put a picture up of what it looks like... but I don't know how good it will come out.

I would watch a movie and see if the problem happens then.

Also, do you have any other games besides Call of Duty? If you do, I would check to see if the problem persists in another game.

Go ahead and post a picture!

I have found a solution to this. Sorry for the late response, I have been very busy. Thanks

What exactly is the solution? It may help other people who are having the same problem and find this through Google.
