I'm not a gamer, but I do appreciate a fast system, so which of these systems would give the best performance for general use and multitasking:

System 1:

Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-78LMT-USB3 (AM3+ Chipset)
CPU: AMD FX-8350 (8Mb L2, 8Mb L3)
RAM: 16Gb DDR3 RAM @ 1866MHz

System 2:

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-F2A88XM-DS2 (rev. 3.x) (A88X Chipset)
CPU: AMD A10-7850 (2x2Mb L2 Cache)
RAM: 16Gb DDR3 RAM @ 2400MHz

System 3:

Motherboard: ASUS M5A88-M EVO (AM3+ Chipset)
CPU: AMD FX-8350 (8Mb L2, 8Mb L3)
RAM: 16Gb DDR3 RAM @ 2000MHz

Should just add, I would like to have a multiple monitor set up for work etc., happy to buy external graphics if necessary, also happy to use onboard graphics if it is not. Obviously, as it's not for gaming, graphics capability is not a major issue beyond multiple monitors (2 at first, possibly 3 in future)

So, as a heavy multi-tasker / performance PC enthusiast, would I see more speed benefit from the 8-core dedicated CPU (with large L2, L3 caches) and a separate graphics card, or would a quality quad core APU with the newer FM2+ socket and a higher RAM speed be a better i.e. faster, all round experience? Or are they roughly equivalent?

Also, I do lean towards AMD, but if you feel it would offer better bang/buck please feel free to suggest any Intel alternatives for similar money.

My primary requirements are:

micro-ATX form factor (or mini-ITX)
SATA-3
USB 3.0

Thanks for taking the time to look (and hopefully comment)!!!!!!!!!

Solution
In most workloads for the CPU, the fx8320 will kill the APU and the other thing is that the APU has less cores and as a result it won't perform as well for desktop applications too

I would say that you are best off with system 3 and pair it with something like a r9 270x and then you will have an effective setup which can run 3 monitors without issues and it is also nice and fast. The only other thing is make sure that you get a SSD for your build as it will have a bigger effect on how responsive the system is than most other components

Thanks... Would you say that System 3 would be significantly / noticebly faster than System 2 for my usage?

I mean, I would have to shell out for a graphics card as well, which I don't mind, but it does reduce the bang/buck benefit.
