So I just bought a Corsair CX750M PSU and I can't seem to connect it to my motherboard. The problem is with the 4 pin CPU connector. The instructions on Corsair's site says:

If your motherboard has a four-pin socket, detach the four-pin from the
eight-pin cable, and then plug this four-pin cable directly to your motherboard.

But, I don't see a four pin connector anywhere on the PSU, so I don't see anything to detach.

Can someone please help?

Thanks,

Brandon

1 x 24pin main connector
1 x 8pin EPS12V CPU < You split the 8 into 2 - 4 pins.
4 x PCI-E
8 x SATA
6 x Peripheral
2 x Floppy

It will be an 8 pin cable, the connector is made of two 4 pin connectors clipped together, you unclip one and plug that into the 4 pin socket. it will be one that is attached to the psu permanently i think

Split the 8 pin like below , then you plug in a 4 pin.
