I would have liked to upgrade the i5 to a xeon quad core with hyper threading which would increase the costs by around $30. But if you only plan on playing LoL, then this would work fine. It would also be nice to be able to upgrade the GPU later on, so I included a 600 watt power supply.

I am pretty sure that LoL uses CPU power more than GPU power. And with your GPU and the new CPU, you have the recommended system requirements met. So yes I would say you should be just fine playing it at 720p.

Even if it's a Pentium it should stream League well since it's a low demanding game. I have an A6 paired with a 7950 right now... when I get the time later on today I'll try streaming on twitch just to test its capability, even though it's only an A6 I can play League maxed out with V sync at a solid 75fps.

A dual core Pentium just won't cut it for playing the game at high settings while streaming at high settings. I just don't see that happening. If you wanted to play at 720p low to medium settings and stream at 480p I would think it would work...but who wants to watch that? People want to see the game looking nice and without lagging and such if they want to watch a gaming video.

Well I used Open broadcaster to try and stream... not sure If I had the right settings or not (really don't have the time for that), but long story short get the i5. Streaming devastated my gaming performance with this dual core.

If my A6 could stream around 240p, the Pentium would probably go to around 360 or 480p.

Don't get me wrong it can play the game well, but for streaming it's a bad choice.
