This is my first Gaming PC build that will be used primarily for playing new and modded games ( Battlefield 4, Titanfall, GTA 5, Skrim w/ mods, etc.) on high to ultra settings with 35-40+ FPS. I don't want to Max everything out with 4k settings, but I am building this instead of getting a PS4 or XB1 so I want better graphics at 1080p. I also want to keep the budget at around $880. Any tips or final reviews are appreciated. Thanks in advance!
Here's the build:

CPU: Intel Core i5-4440 3.1GHz
Mobo: MSI B85M-G43 Micro ATX LGA1150
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866
Storage: Samsung 840 EVO 120GB 2.5" SSD
Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB
Video Card: MSI Radeon R9 270 2GB TWIN FROZR
Case: Corsair SPEC-01 RED ATX Mid Tower Case
PSU: Corsair Builder 600W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX
OS: Windows 8.1
Wireless Network Adapter: Asus USB-N53 USB 2.0 Wi-Fi Adapter
Case Fan:Corsair Air Series 120mm Fan
I've done tons of research already, but want some expert advice for the final specs. I don't plan on overclocking, want to make sure that this is somewhat future-proof i.e. a few more years of gaming on mid-high settings, and I won't be doing any hardcore video editing or programming so no i7 is needed at the moment. Thanks again.
